What, if we could iron all our ego problems to seek an absolutely peaceful and harmonious ambiance around us? Well, this is not a utopian concept. In most of the corporate and non corporate organizations, the recent demands are for those, who possess technical dexterity, management expertise, inventiveness, fervor, communication skills, self-reliance and self-impetus. In this atmosphere, one has to adapt the mentioned qualities as quickly as possible to interact with a variety of people. So there is the burning need to have the most amicable relation with the person having the most unlike mindset as you.NLP can enlighten your mind and train it in such a way, that you can mine out your quiescent qualities and integrate them into your behaviour. NLP has two analytical methods for this. They are transactional analysis and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

The Transactional analysis or TA has been illustrated by Tom Harris, in his book “I’m OK, You’re OK”. This theory tells that how we are today is programmed by how we were yesterday. It is based on the different roles of a same person in different relationships as the child, adult or parent and says that if we ourselves are ok, others will be ok too. As a child, a person’s world is full of only own needs, when the person is adult; he perceives the world more considerably, and as a parent; he is more responsible and caring in his nature. If these distinct behaviors are misbalanced, NLP helps to smooth them out.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or MBTI was developed by the mother-daughter duo Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers. This popular technique speaks of 16 different personality types, practically proved to accuracy. 4 key types of distinct personalities are mentioned.

1) Extroverted or Introverted : the extroverted always seek the company of others for their enjoyment and cannot live alone. Whereas the introverted are happy to be with themselves and do not seek the company of others for their entertainment.

2) Sensing or Intuitive : NLP describes the sensing persons as the ones, who rely on the senses of vision, sound, smell, taste and touch to come to any decision. And the intuitive persons depend on their gut feeling to come to any conclusion.

3) Thinking or Feeling : the persons using logic, principles and rules to analyze any experience are thinking types, while the persons using values, beliefs and feelings to judge any situation are the feeling type.

4) Perceiving or Judging : the perceiving type of persons possess an open outlook, are of adjusting nature and decide late, while the judging types are quick deciders and wants certainty in their life.

No types are fully flawless and we can see people with the combination of these types. NLP provides a deep insight into our natures with these types and helps us to decide our ways to rectify or modify ourselves to deal with others in the most desired way.
