For me, People Building began as a puzzle. I had just qualified as a trainer of NLP, having previously completed my NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner training as well as being a qualified Hypnotherapist. I already had a successful Hypnotherapy/NLP practice and was craving more. However, one of the essential elements in starting up my new business was missing from my wealth of resources – money! I desperately needed an extra pair of hands to help me get the business off the ground whilst continuing to run my Hypnotherapy practice, but didn't have the funds to pay someone. If I got a loan from the bank, I wouldn't be earning enough each month to pay it back.
Not one to be put off by something as trivial as lack of funds, I adopted the Law of Requisite Variety (the person with the most flexibility of behaviour has the greatest influence over others). So, I put an advert in the paper, basically saying that I wanted someone to come and work for me-for free. I would give them in exchange the only thing I had to offer - NLP and Hypnotherapy training. Fifteen people applied for the position. I interviewed eleven and took on three.
Together we began to create from scratch the entire company. It took lots of post-it notes, bits of paper, discussion and brain ache. And I'm proud to say that we created what is now, one of the most respected NLP and Hypnotherapy training providers in the community - and I couldn't have done it without them.

I was first introduced to Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) in 2002 which was beginning of a journey that was about to change the course of my life both personally and professionally.
I had a career in the banking industry for 18 years, working with a major High Street Bank with varying roles ranging from Personal Banking, Management and Sales Coaching. I often used this opportunity to escape issues in the domestic world although the job was very monotonous.
It was thanks to an amazing individual Anthony Robbins that helped me to find the inner strength to take the steps to free myself and my children to a more positive place in life, where I was in control of my destiny. To live my dreams. This was the beginning of a curiosity for me to find out more about NLP as I wanted to help others who are facing challenges in their lives.
Having found this new "Inner" willpower to "Free" myself from the shackles of a normal mundane lifestyle, I have now discovered love for the first time and my children are thriving in such a positive fashion which could have never been imagined before.
My life is true testimony to prove that the challenges that life offers can be overcome to lead a much more prosperous and positive lifestyle.
